Question Changing Spark Plugs on 2001 Grand Prix

Having loads of trouble here........ there are sleeves on the boot of the plug wires, my guess is they are for heat resistance. I can not get the plug wires to come off the plug, I have pulled, tugged, everything and can not get the boot off the plug. Do those sleeves need to come off seperately, or do they pull off with the wire? Is there some "magic" tool to get them off??

Re: Changing Spark Plugs on 2001 Grand Prix

wach it with the pliers not to brake the cable at the boot. THe heat shields slide on the spark connector. You should pull the heat shield so then you can pull the plug connector. Take it easy with the pliers
