"Y" Piping

Anyone here have a cattman Y PIPE or any other aftermarket Y PIPE.,. not only do i have a hole in my exhaust i have one in my Y PIPE, and my car is only 4 years old, Well if anyone has one how do u get away with it because my mechanic wont put one on for me cuz its illegal. how do u pass inspection and does it perform much better then factory because i dont want to pay $1000 for nissans bullsh*t. GET AT ME!

once the car is warmed up the actual cat will clean the exhaust enough to pass emissions, and yes it's significantly faster with the y pipe, albeit loud as hell with a cat-back.
