Hey bro - congrats on getting your 5th gen lude
I saw your post the you just hit VTEC for the first time - I wanted to tell you that even though the redline is 7500 rpm - you can rev safely to 7900 rpm and your peak HP once you get AEM cold air intake with exhaust and header will be right there so don't be affraid of VTEC - the folks who say it's not good to get into vtec often are wrong - an engine needs exercise in all parts of the power band just like a great athelete does - so just remember it like it's an athlete and be sure to use 2nd gear getting on the freeway and VTEC kicks in and takes you up to 70mph very very nice!
also it'll sound a lot better in the VTEC when you get an intake - and it is addictive - I started turning my system off just so I could hear the engine rev..... get at me later here cuz the administrator won't let me post in SHO anymore???????? I guess I said or did something wrong????

OH YeaH

everyone I talk to in the SHO city/State forum is now aware of this place and hopefully they'll start running their mouths soon - I think you said you're in Florida right?
I went to College at Gulf Coast and played baseball - School is tuff on Panama City Beach bro - Anyway I could've gone to Florida international and had I known they were gonna be in the College world series I would've went their but I was young and stupid! Anyway - Phoenix is where I'm at now and I work for QWEST communications so there's a little history of myself. I love Florida - I'll be in Florida March 19th thru April 7th on vacation all over the state!

And your car

just a bit of extra info - I had the Civic Si an actual pre production model that put out about 175 horsepower and I flogged that engine pretty much on a daily basis and put 40K hard miles on it and I raced it at the track often - well the car got totalled by a bad driver and I never got to realize it's full potential but these DOHC VTEC motors can tolerate a lot of high revs and power surges and if you've ever heard a 99-00 Civic Si hit VTEC with an AEM in place - that's one of the best sounding motors I've ever heard! - I like the deeper growl of the Prelude but the Civic Si was actually intimidating and scarey to some people!

don't forget to check out that VIS racing body kit that I told you about too! it's called titanic wide body and Battle Z front fascia - also if you're gonna get rims - I have brand spanking new as in only about 50 miles on em.
Konig Rush 17" with roadhugger rage 215 45 17s does'nt look like they've ever ben driven on - got em for my girls Dodge Avenger but she sold it last month and bought a Civic HX so it only has 4 lug pattern and the rims are universal 5 lug!
anyway - check em out at Discount tire direct and you'll see any set of 17" Konigs go for over $1100 with tires and mounted and My girlfriend wants to get $800 for them or some 4 lug 16/17" rims of equal value as a trade for hers!
Konig Rush they look preety good on a Honda!!!

I'm too lazy to scan pictures
I played all stars baseball - we played there at Lincoln and Godby in 1994..... Cool - Gainsville is a bit far from there but I'd go be a gator before becoming a Seminole vessical - but I'm a Canes fan! Later

count your blessings you grew up in Tallahassee as opposed to Vernon or Chipley or Wausau where the possum festival and all the rednecks are - I graduated from Vernon High class of 94! if you don't know where any of those places are - you're better off not to!
