helpfull info??
i have a 67 impala that im putting a 496BBC into, before i start lowering it in, can anyone tell me which oil pan i need to use because of the steering behind the cross member?? also, any kind of fancy motor mounts i need to get or can i use any small/big block chevy mounts, im just not sure if there are some i need to get incase the motor sits ahead at all or not , and who sells a small brake booster i can buy from?

I have a 67 caprice w/ 540 procharger.
You can use stock pan from a 67 BBC impala, or measure your new pan and cut and re weld to clear the steering link. If you use stock BBC rubber motor mounts buy many. I have polyurethane motor mounts on the car now. Have not had any probs. |
