integra axles with b16 tranny problem
i got my b16 in and running, (didnt throw a single code) but i got everything together and was going to take it out for a little run, and the thing wouldnt move, so at first i thought the brakes were locked, but i checked them, and then i thought maybe i put the clutch in wrong, and then i thought my tranny was bad. well i jacked the car back up, and pulled the tire off, along with the big brass axle bolt and then tried. this time the axle started spinning inside the hub. i relized the axle bolt was too tight, and when i put it on all the way it wouldnt allow the axle to turn. do i need to get front hubs from a 90-93 teg, and if so what all do i need to get.
any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks harvey |

Re: integra axles with b16 tranny problem
You shouldn't need to.. I use 91 Teg axles with no problems.

Re: integra axles with b16 tranny problem
Did you remove the dust caps on the axle and the insid of the hub? That will cause some binding.

i'm not sure, maybe i should just tighten the axle nuts up tight enough to keep the axles in place but not tight enough to lock the axles up.
i'm not sure why its doing that. i didnt remove anything from the stock crx hubs. |

Re: integra axles with b16 tranny problem
There is a rubber dust sheid on the inside of the hub that needs to be removed, I had to when I did my swap. double check I bet that's the prob
