Z6 Swap w/P28 ECU Question
Sorry for being such a post whore lately it's just that I'm having a hard time finding info on the swap that I want to do. It's just that each swap tutorial is different. I need a little more detail of the whole wiring shit. I know you can keep it OBD0, but it won't work as well. Then I found these harness kits that you can use to keep your stock Si harness and plug it threw the adapter into a P28 ECU which is OBD1. It said that I will need an OBD1 Dizzy. Is there anything else OBD1 that I will need like injectors and stuff or can I just take my injector resistor off and keep the si injectors in?

Re: Z6 Swap w/P28 ECU Question
if you use obd1 civic injectors you would take the resistor box out and solder the 5 wires that go to it together. If you keep your stock 4th gen si injectors you just leave the resistor box in. The other thing you will need to do obd1 is a 4 wire o2 sensor

Re: Z6 Swap w/P28 ECU Question
Yep Yep have you looked here for instructions on wiring the Z6 in your car? http://www.thezcr.com/html/odbiconversion.php
This is the guy that did my wiring it takes alot of time but well worth the time to do it. He used the guide as he went so I know its acurate.

Re: Z6 Swap w/P28 ECU Question
On all the wire conversions I looked into they all required a 4 wire O2 sensor. But you maybe able to run a 3 wire it may or may not work right. But for sure on the OBD1 dist and you will need the plugs also and where the different color wires run.
Oh I saw lots of need this and that when I looked into doing the wire conversion harness, it seemed easier just to start from scratch and do it all the right way first so no problems in the future.
