vacuum leak? egr? eexhaust?
while driving my '88 GT I hear a wierd "hissing" noise, and it is very noticable. while idling I really don't hear anything, and also at full throttle it completely goes away. when throttling down in gear it is quiet until certain point when it is annoyingly loud.
does anybody have any ideas as to what this may be. it just bothers me.

if the cars performance is still good ,rule out blocked exhaust.have you checked your air/vac hoses for leaks?
