99 windstar whirling noise from belt area

hello! hope you can help ,maybe someone else had this problem i am getting this intermittant whirling noise coming from the belt area that is also causing the engine to want to stall ,i checked the usual suspects the idler pulley/arm ,water pump ,alternater all are good ,i saw that somone had a problem like this and said it was the fuel injection syncrhonizer !(sounds maybe like my problem) anyone out there with this problem ?
