My 99 Gp Jerks Over 2000 Rpm

I Have 99 Gp While Driving The Car Starts To Jerk Over 2000 Rpm No Body Knows What This Problem Is.i Changed My Plugs,wires,02 Sensor,cat,fuel Filter,nothing Has Helped.i Am Thinking About Changing My Pcm Any Sugg.would Be App.

Man, looks like is related to the TCC. Do you have a SES? Have you ever changed the tranny oil? Did the tranny got repaired recently?

I Did Change The Trans Fluid And Filter This Problem Started At 30k I Now Have 100k This Problem Has Not Changed If I Realy Step On It It Stops Or If I Let Off The Gas It Stops

If you step on it (WOT) floor it? and if you leave it. Man that is the TCC. COuld be the solenoid ot the TCC gone south. If you have the service manual go check how to replace it. On the 4t60e was not that hard but I am not sure about the 4t65e.

hi ,i had the same thing happen to my 99 gtp .then i started putting 93 or better gas in my car and it went away after a couple of days .

yea i agree with Ripn, it does sound like a transmission problem. you can modify the way you transmission catches the clutch and can make better shifts.

I had the same thing happen and it was the pressure control solinoid (pardon my spelling on that.) Definitely a transmission problem.

This seems to be a common problem on these cars. Why doesn't anyone know exactly what it is? My car does it to, at about 2000 rpm ussualy when on incline.

hrm... could i have the same problem, my car started jerking the other day through 2nd. after temp hit 180 it almost stopped jerking but did so ever so often. fluids/filter were changed few hundred miles ago.

i had an old daytona that got real jerky over 2k rpm after the alternator went out.
