Re: Battle of the euro wagons....

i would go with volvo just because it looks the most normal as a station wagon. the other three look out of place.

Re: Battle of the euro wagons....

heck no. audi all the way. thats things the king of awd the bmw just sucks, volvo is meh and saab is not meant for that stuff in my opinion. audi is performance melted with good awd with a pretty good build quality and reliability reputation.

Re: Battle of the euro wagons....

yeah, i've been leaning towards the audi too. thing is i already have an A4 sedan. and i like it a lot. this wagon is for the family, not me personally. will be tradin my wife's rx300 for it. the V70 would be my next choice. seems to be more practical than the audi since it seats more. i'll see if i could find a V70r for a decent price. or an old rs4 avant that'd be sweet.

I vote for the Volvo, can't go wrong with the people who invented the seat belt.

Well strike the Saab off the list right away- It's old, it can't handle for crap and nobody buys them.

The Audi and BMW are good if you want sporty wagons, but the Volvo is by far the most comfortable of them and won't disappoint at all.

Get the Volvo

From what I know about Volvo's, they are reliable, comfortable, and safe, perfect for a station wagon meant for families. However, their biggest downfall was that they were butt ugly, but the recent designs are very stylish, and I think they look really nice, so they basically fixed the only real drawback I can remember from Volvo station wagons.

Well, I'm sure it'd carry you 2.3 Children and Labrador quite comfortably to the cottage in the middle of Bum-fucking nowhere, eh chappy?

I think another one to look into would be the VW Passat 2.8 4MOTION Variant. The folks back home have a sedan version, they love it.
