rear view mirror on stable door

Has anyone tried moving the rear view mirror on the windsheild so you can better see a vehicle directly behind you? The center edges of the doors really block your veiw and I thought that maybe if it was offset one way or the other that it would help-????????? Any experience or other ideas or is it just too much thinkin'?

Thanks, Greg

I love my barn doors. And wouldn't want the other type. I adjust the mirror to the right so I can just see out the LEFT door on the LEFT end of the mirror. It works great for me.
