My dad has parkinsons. I know you are thinking "ahh crap, this is the A hole i wanted to avoid". Well, when i read it i didn't laugh, but then i realized its the type of humor i normally like, just not with that. So I am not angered, nor do i want a soapbox to preach from, just making a comment

Very well handled! That's the kind of solidarity we like on AF!

Change from nasty, tasteless Pepsi to Dr. Pepper or Sprite (which is caffeine free! *hint, hint*)

I know where you are coming from with the Pepsi addiction. I used to be that way with mountain dew. Now I drink coffee instead with no sugar. It took some time to get used to it but has saved my from many head aches.

RevHappy Cowboy®, don't worry about it. He isn't that old as for it to really be too hurtful to him, he is only 50. Also, he was a lawyer with a practice for family law. He had to close his practice because the stress made it worse. He now gets disability pay, which someone gets around taxes, and my mom works, so money isn't a problem. The best thing i think that has come out of it is that my father has time to do what he wants. He studied martial arts for about 20 years when he was younger, and now he does internal martial art stuff as well as normal martial arts (forms and what not). He really loves that stuff, so i am happy knowing he gets to do that stuff now. Plus with the medications the doctors are giving him, mixed with the internal martial arts he is doing VERY well. Comedy is comedy, we make jokes at the expense of others, and usually the other people understand nothing serious was meant and take it just as lightly as the person telling the joke. Anyways, sorry for the long post, i just felt I had to make sure you know i am not offended. Thanks

Yes, I'm glad you understand sometimes we just don't watch what we say & get carried away....good to hear your dad is doing well

btw back on topic (kinda): Coke is so muh better than Pepsi, I always find Pepsi too sweet but I do prefer other Pepsi products like Lipton Iced tea & 7-up over Nestea & Sprite tho :smoka:

The Pepsi available in Aus/N.Z. is all made in Eire and air freighted in concentrate form to be watered, carbonated and bottled on arrival. The concentrate is so caustic that it is not allowed on passenger service aircraft.
Just thought you might like to know......

The bad thing about an addiction is it is hard to quit. It does not matter what it is. I wish you the best in your quest, just dont find another addiction to replace your current other than sex
