Cartoon Ferrari 360 Modena

this was a quickie, it scanned much lighter. I used pencil crayons and outlined it with a fine tip black. I wish I'd have used markers.

Re: Cartoon Ferrari 360 Modena

Pretty good, ilike it, IMO it looks more of a realistic approach than a toon. BTW it is leanin to one side, i don't know if you meant to do that. Good toon nonetheless. keep it up!

Re: Cartoon Ferrari 360 Modena

I think its too realistic. It needs more exaggeration on certain parts. But overall, I think its done really nicely.

Re: Cartoon Ferrari 360 Modena

I think the pencil works for you Jeep_Rubicon.

Keep in mind you can build up multiple layers of color with the pencils. After a few layers (glazes) you will get a rich rich color.

Are you using Prismacolors? You should.

Other than that I like the line work, looks clean, and I like the 3/4 rear perspective.

If you drop a shadow in that front wheel well your front tire will pop a little more.

Keep it up!

Re: Cartoon Ferrari 360 Modena

hi jeep_rubicon, nice toon. maybe you could work on the depth of your rims a bit, but otherwise it looks good. By the way, i got a set of 60 prismacolors for around 24 dollars canadian i think. Good ol' wal-mart...
