paint drying
hey guys right now i have my 1979 camaro z28
sitting in my toaster oven drying it was primed with model master primer sanded then i coated two coats of mm classic white sanded some more then i hit it with byods sunburst orange let it set for 15 min then off to the toaster where it has been for a hour baking at just under 100 degree's i called my buddy at the body shop and asked him if it would work and he said yes just dont let get to hot so i let the door open a bit what do you think?? mark

I think you're running the risk of melting your model.
I've never been too keen on speeding up drying time on paint. Best to let the paint do its work, level out and dry on it's own. But that's just me . . .

well plastic and ovens dont work. it will melt at 100 degress. i let mine do its work

thats why i did it with a cheap model and not one of my tamiya's
i keep the z in there for about 1 hour and took it out paint seem's hard i'll leave it alone for a week before messing with it |

I wouldn't recommend heating the plastic. It can bond or the paint can crack of too fast drying process.
You can try with food dehydrator, I read you can have the whole body painted in a day. But for me is still old school of at least 24h drying time in plastic box

i dont have a paint booth or any fancy things, i have always painted my car, and put it in a clear box and let dry for a day or so, and it is fine, then wash it and clear
