In Dash DVD player

Hey i want to buy an Indash DVD player and was wondering if anyone on here had one. I have a 97 Teg and I didnt know if the Air/heat controls would get in the way of the flip out 7 inch screen. From the looks i dont think it would fit. Just thought id see if anyone has one.

I just put one in the other day (POINEER) and the climate controls do get in the way... it makes it kinda hard to get a good viewing angle... I am trying to get some ideas on what I can do... I think I might make something out of fiberglass and put the deck where the top vents are. There might be a kit out there to do this, but I cant find anything... let me know if you do.

I've heard that any screen veiwable by the driver is illegal if on while driving. Is this true? Will you really only use it while in park?
