insurance cost
I'm wondering how much you people with turbo's pay for insurance. Also I'm wondering how much I can expect to pay if I get a turbo rx7, I'm 17, one speeding ticket on my record going 12 over, one not at fault accident. please verify if your stating the price by monthly, 6 months, or a year payments. thanks...
also if I were to buy a non-turbo model and swap in a turbo engine, drivetrain, etc. would I be able to get by with only paying for a non-turbo?

Re: insurance cost
try farmers insurance, they're usually the least expensive.

Re: insurance cost
yeah with the turbo swap you could still get non-turbo insurance since they take the model info off the car's VIN and you won't be changing that in the swap. I'm curious how much of a savings there is between the two models though

Re: insurance cost
well for liability I pay $1200 a year for my non-turbo, and if I get the turbo with liability its $1300 for 6 months - found this out on the progressive website

Re: insurance cost
do the turbo swap then. That's what I was thinking since the insurance savings would eventually pay for the swap.
