CAr Painting
I was wondering if anyone had a good idea of how many qts. of paint i would need to paint my 1990 CRX. I havnt been to the body shop yet but i wanted to get an idea of how many qts i would need b4 i went to the body shop.

2 gallons??????? Are you friggin insane!!!???
Dude try more like 2 quarts. for a CRX. depending on what brand and how the painter mixes it. There are many different mix methods. every painter has his or her own mix recipe. Plus theres the clear coat. Unless you choose a single stage paint then the clear is right in the paint itself. But he should shoot it 2 to 1 2 parts catalyst 1 part paint. So 2 quarts is more than enough. Sorry for rambling. Hope I answered your question. |
