Unhappy Premium Radio with JbL system

I have an 89 ford thunderbird SC with a stock Premium JBL sound system. There is little to no sound coming out of the speakers. The fuse under the hood keeps blowing. Does the JBl system in back have a fuse. What could be the problem. Help.

Typically if you have a fuse constantly blowing you have a dead short somewhere in the wiring. Where that short may be is always fun to find.

Forgot to say that the car had been sitting for a couple years. Battery needed to be replaced. Thought this might be reason for fuse problem but not radio sound problem. Is there a fuse with the system in the truck.
