Question Recommendations on filling holes?

Hey just removed the rear badge on my vehicle, noticed there are two small holes, what can i use to fill and paint the holes?

any sugggestions thanks

cheap way to do it is get some bondo or duraglass, fill it, sand it and paint it. Better thing to do is to weld a small piece of sheet metal in there, then bondo or duraglass, sand it and paint it.

tac weld those bitches. bondo would have a high chance of breaking out during the winter when you close your trunk.

i saw how they did it on trucks on spike tv they used a washer and a screw and pulled it out from the inside then welded it on and well yeah i forgot the rest just some ideas mabye some1 else saw that episode

yeah i think they actually used a rivet or something like that and held it in place then sawed it off and grinded it flat.

little tac welds don't generate much heat, plus the area will need painted anyway so it isn't really too big of a deal. i personally wouldn't go through all the trouble though just to take the 'H' off the trunk lid.

well it would be better to strip the paint within the area that you'll be welding so you can actually strike an arc, and since you'll have to paint anyways....
