back then (starting in the 60's) it was the old N series and S series cars, the S600 and S800 are the precursor to the new S2000. the N series cars were similar to the original Civic but had more of a Mini look to them. the car known as the Civic didn't come out till '73 (have a look here for some old Honda drawings) and didn't see the USDM very much till '74 and '75
