looking for a civic

i have been looking for a civic for a while now, and i can never seem to get my hands on one. everyone sais they are all over but where? im looking for one from 88-95(88-91) must be a hatchback. must be a 4 or 5 speed manual. im looking for something that needs work, body or motor. some that is like $500, because i plan on completely redoing the whole car, putting a b16 or something in it. i live around the pittsburgh area of pennsylvania. please let me know if you know where i can get my hands on a cheap civic near by, like withing 60 miles. thanks

You can find them, but dont just look localy, you can find them in classifieds online. It takes a few bucks to transport a car from here to there but if you find a great deal, its worth it. I see them for sale alot in the chicago area. just look along the streets. or if you see one find the owner and ask them if they are willing to sell. If the offer is good then they might. Its happend to a few of my friends.

83 k i put rimz and stereo in it my mom smoked crack i think haha

83k is low as hell for a 87. I would have paid more than 100 bux for it.
