Doesnt anyone street race the stock cars like the...
Ford Taurus Pontiac Grand Am Any other cars widly used by the pro racers..? Id like to know because im bouncing between buying a taurus or a prelude...t/y

my friend who i work with has a 97 grand am with like 5000$ dollars worth of under the hood work done to it. he also just recently bought a body kit and rims and is just waiting for the money for a paint job as the car is primered right now.....and i'll tell you that car will roll! (he did say that aftermarket support sucks for the car though)

Well, I don't think these cars are widely used in racing. I mean, in NASCAR which would claim to be racing the Ford Taurus, the car on the track doesn't have a single Taurus part in it.

I use to light to light race with my Contour SVT.. hauled ass for a 4 door.
