Its my friend. We are the same internet connection at school through out the building, its a complete network. He sits about 20feet away and we PM each other, and I tell him to check my thread.

I dont know why he always puts *bump* in front of it.

Thanks for the comments.

Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)

How detailed are you going to make the chassis? I'm curious to see what treatment you give the crossmembers and their supports. I always like the way chassis for these old cars look, two beefy rails with an almost delicat looking network between tham. That will be a treat to see, once you've got the chassis done. Now on with it!

Detail on the chassis, not really sure. I would like a very clean look with some detail. I dont exactly know as of now. I kind of shootinf from my ass on this one.

After checking AF I'll be on to finishing up the main bondoing of the left rail.

Check, check, check. I will have all of those. The fuel lines will be silver blind cord. It represents braided hoses really well. I will probably fabricate the fuel cell out of 24Ga.- 16Ga. Steel. I need to find a good looking gas cap.

Re: ULTIMATE SCRATCHBUILD: 1/6 Hot Rod (Progress)

Cool. Making a fuel tank could be hard. What about straps holding the fuel cell on to the frame.

I have built boxes out of metal before, should be too much of a hassle. It will be all one piece of metal. As far as attaching to the frame, I will make it clean with metal support pieces, I cant really explain it, sorry.

Woohoo, alarm rang. Bondo is done drying. Time to go back to work, be back in about 45minutes or so!

Thanks man, I wondered where you disappeared to. Instead of finishing the frame then dropping the Hemi in it, I need the Hemi to finish the frame. I dont want to get to ahead of myself without parts.

I dont think he realizes the date, I dont exactly know. Or maybe its because I jokingly say "Hey Josh, go bump my thread its four posts down, haha".

As far as this studying thing you just mentioned. I am unfamiliar with this word "studying". Its Drafting/Architecture we hate the teacher, therefore we hate the class. Also our teacher is an idiot, he teaches a class about CAD/CAM and doesnt know how to use the damn program. He thinks it takes 4 weeks to draw a house in AutoCAD when it takes me 2 1/2 days. Therefore I just toy around for the rest of the 3 weeks on AF or drawing rims on CAD.

Its funny when he comes around and sees a big rim in 3D, man that pisses him off. He comes up to my computer and says "Mike, quit drawing wheels and get back to work". So I quit drawing rims and started designing stuff for the hot rod which has mysteriously vanished. I can not find it at all on the network.
