Thumbs up G'day from Ontario

I was looking for some insight into brake problems with my 90 Lumina and judging by the size of this forum I'd say there should be some useful info to be had.

Post Brake problems 90 Lumina

I had one for 8 years and 5 sets of brakes. The pads were poorly made after removing the aspestice from them. They mixed too much glue in with the whatever they are now calling it.? Check the recalls, I recieved notice of a civil suit against GM for so many problems with the brakes. Of course GM won't turn the roters anymore and want to sell you new. Brake dust was another issue. I sold the car after the notice was sent to me though. As for the dust I now run ceramic pads on all my cars. They cost a little more but what I save at the car wash and less aggravation it's worth it. Hope this helps Ken
