Oh yea that is why I am flaming you, I flamed you because you can't seem to type a clear and complete sentence. I have nothing against preludes, I almost bought one it was a tuff choice between the two for me, and for your information I gave more than 9000 for my teg, and it is 2 yrs older than your car, so how is it that people can't afford a prelude. And also by saying that "preludes have balls not like those acuras and civics" you should clearify what it is that you are talking about, because if think that you can take on a Acura CL type S, Acura TL type S, or a RSX type S then you are wrong, all 3 of those cars will own you and with alot more class too IMHO.


I am sorry for offending anybody in this forum, but my point was not to upset people, rather to enlighten some people. I fell that if you are going to defend a particular car then you should do it with something more than "Let me tell you". "Let me tell you" means crap of nothing, I could say hey "let me tell you I can take any prelud blah blah blah" But obveously that is not true, and wouldn't all of you flame me for it? well this guy was doing basically the same thing towards my type car. If you look up every Integra vs Prelude thread that has ever been on AF then you would see that every post I have in them has not one flame or negative thing said toward the prelude. So basically my point was if you are going to defend something, then defend it with some facts or logic not hear say or opinons.

Second, comparing Preludes vs. Integras are like comparing apples to oranges. They aren't even same car type.

Integras are not real sport cars. They are small sedans and coupes. Thats why Consumer Reports list the Integra, "Small car" category. it's an upscale civic with more power/luxury, but in the same car category as the civic. What is amazing that it drives and feels almost like a sports car without the sport car price. Acura Integra vs. Honda Civic vs. Toyota Corolla, Acura has better small cars.

Preludes are Honda's division of true sport cars, they only came in coupes version and that's why they cost more than integras. Consumer Reports list Preludes as sport car.

The true sports car of Acura division is the NSX. So you compare the two sport cars, NSX vs. Prelude, Acura has better sport car.

Also, the Acura RSX is like an redesigned integra. In japan, there are no RSX, they are still called honda integra. So, if you are dissin integras, then you are also dissin Acura RSX's. Acura RSX is redesigned into an real sports car, Dropping the integra sedan and replacing it with the Acura TSX. So, RSX vs. Prelude, Acura has better sport car.

The only U.S. Integra that deserves to be called a Sport car is the "Type R" that was sold in U.S. in limited numbers, so the comparison should be:

well i like both integras and preludes... but honestly, unless a built and boosted gsr comes up next to me, he's not going to have much of a chance. and from what i hear, preludes have better topend. and im not making that up, its just what ive been told.

and when ive seen stock specs around, prelude and itr 1/4 times are about the same... so how does a gsr beat a prelude??

comparing to a lower end model integra is not right. take the top prelude type S and top integra type R, then you've got a worthy challenge.

Honda's sport car is the s2000. Acura's sport car is the NSX. Integras and Preludes are both sport coupes (sedans).
