Question Engines comparable to Honda's

Quick engine question: Does anyone have any recommendations for a car brand (i.e. Nissan, Mitsubishi, etc.) that makes engines as durable and well reknown as the engines Honda produces? I have always been told that Honda engines were the best and most durable engines in the market. That was one of the deciding factors in my buying a used Civic. My issue now is I need to buy another used car this week. This week. I'm pressed for times. Thing is I can't find any Honda's (Civics or Accords) in my area for the price I want. I want a Honda, but I'm still pressed for time. So, does anyone have any suggestions for another car with an equal reputation for lasting, durable engines? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
