so you're calling me a dumbass, nutless faggot because I think his car's rice? The fact that you think so highly or the rice rocket in question makes me think that you wouldn't know a car modified with good taste if it ran over you. Seriously, how can you possibly find that car attractive? the wing, graphic, wheels, paint, etc is all rice in my opinion. I respect other peoples opinion to an extent, when they call me a dumbass, nutless faggot for expressing my opinion I get a little peeved.

Ok, I admit, the car is for the moment rice, but I bought it that way. It's got all the cosmetics done, now I can spend my time and money working on the engine. I don't have to worry about the outside. And BTW, I don't see how a car being painted red, a stock color, makes it rice.

on my monitor the color looks more salmon then red, if it truely is the stock color (or close too it) then i will withdraw the paint as one of its rice qualifiers. Like I said earlier, i could let a lot of the mods go if the car had anything to back it up, drop in a turbocharged b18c5 and hell I wouldn't care if you put a big "V-TECH" sticker accross the windshield

Well you see, it's kinda like how I find your mother attractive. Some people may not, while I do

For those who call his car rice, im gonna throw a taco at you, maybe even a burrito. He's in the same boat as me, I BOUGHT my car with white painted windshield wipers, "cool" hubcaps, stupid stickers on the both doors, and other white painted things done in the interior, I used to think it was cool until i found out it looks dumb. Did a little cosmetic work and my car looks normal. Just give da brutha some time yo! Peace!

ok i had a friend that had the same spoiler and when he was doing like 110 the thing bent back, really helping you out there. the thing has no purpose at all in life , nothing, it does nothing so why have it there? it is ugly and so are the altezza's. the sticker well we already said something about that.

your just as stupid as everyone calling you names , talking about a turbo type-r motor. it can be done yes but listen up you have to lower the compression to not detonate it and when you do that you have a gsr motor with a turbo. so you wasted all that money on an engine when you could bought a gsr motor for way cheaper and with the extra money you saved on not buying the type-r engine you can buy a turbo. the type-r engine is useless if it isn't all motor. so that wouldn't even impress me.

Ok, can someone close this thread, I've read enough "stickers are gh3y" and "spoilers are dumb and pointless". It was the best car I could get for $2,000. The engine and the interior are in excellent shape, so I didn't mind the outside being a little ricey.

you would only lower the compression ratio if you were going to run a lot of boost non-intercooled. If you intercool and use a quality reprogrammed ecu such as Zdyne then you could keep stock compression and run safe boost.

Yeah but how fun is it to run 94+ octane, retarded timing, and minimal boost all the time? Only an idiot would do that. There is no point in turbo'ing a B18c5 at all... the high compression from the FACTORY screams ALL MOTOR FUCK TURBO!!

Granted, done right, a turbo B18c5 is fast as shit. But IMO, anyone who turbo's a B18c5 is a moron. Why not just save some $$$ and turbo a B18c1.

Turbo ITR engines are a waste of money. You can do the same buildup and run MORE boost on a B18c1, for less $$$. Unless you just wanna say "I have the Type R engine in here", then the B18c5 is worthless for anything BUT all-motor....

could also save even more money and get a B18B instead of a b18c, cause if you're planning on running a lot of boost, VTEC becomes pretty much useless... I know several guys that kick themselves in the butt for spending so much for VTEC and then when they finally get their engines how they wanted 'em, they can't feel any difference wether it's VTEC or not.
Bottom line is, almost every VTEC engine is not that great for boosting.

kinda........... VTEC + Turbo, whil eit doesn't "FEEL" as cool as VTEC + no turbo, absolutely hauls ass.

If you get your timing right, to prevent overlap, VTEC produces a shitload of boosted power. I've seen a B16a dynograph with a Rev Hard turbo on it, it was making in the area of 480hp.... without VTEC engaged, it made less than 400 (392 i think?)
