hahaha i personally own a sportshift 5gen and yes they do not handle extra power...get that MT if u can avoid AT...mine failed after i out on JRSC and only after 16k miles too...crap crap crap

Mines an automatic, and still really good. Althoug the shifting is pretty harsh. You still dont lose as much power. Yet, I would have chosen a 5 spd if I was allowed to =( Parents fault

i was looking at a 1996 honda prelude and it didnt have an engine or trans. so i was thinking of putting a h22 with manual trans. but would it interfere if the car was a automatic. and what wlould i all have to do to go through this atts to manual.

everyone is hating on auto, when you figure a turbo the picture, can you "no turbo lag!!!" but that is the only thing i like about auto

Umm.. off the top of my head.. clutch pedal, clutch master cylindar, clutch linkage, shift linkage, shifter assembly, all necessary mounting hardware..

I think that's what you were asking.. "atts to manual"? I assume you mean auto to manual.

well i had an auto prelude, and it ran kinda like a manual only caus rev limiter and speed limiter was disabled. i was the second owner and dont know how the previous owner did it, only clue was ECU fuse was missing everything else was OEM. it worked great tho everytime i floored it, it would redline shift.

its just a matter of preference IMO...
