Question 97 Grand Caravan is now DOA

my grand caravan sport has the 3.3 It left my husband stranded a week ago. Our mechanic has replaced the crank sensor, ignition coil pack and the computer. All plugs have been check as well as ignition wires & the fuel pressure was tested and around 40 psi. Still cannot figure out what the problem is. It doesnot want to stay running. When trying to drive it, if you come off the gas, it stalls and will take forever to get it going again. The idle fluctuates horribly if you can get it to stay running at all. If you can get it running, it will stay running if you tach it up to 3000 RPM. The check engine light is on. Any ideas at this point would be greatly appriciated. I am tired of not having transportation.

Thanks for all the help

The mechanic started to go back over his work. Apparently the first sensor that he replaced was a defective replacement. He got another sensor and the van is now alive and running again.
