The only doors you can use are 89-91 CRX doors. You can use any trim level but it has to be a CRX. No other doors or panel will fit.

As far as the dash painting goes, you will need to sand everything and repaint it.

Re: Interior swap help me

sanding to take off paint is a bitch.

save time and buy a couple quarts of paint thinner. very cheap.

take all your painted pieces out and place in a big container full of paint thinner.

after a day, the paint should be very easy to take off. just lightly scrape off with a knife.

then sand for smoothness.

I have also found luck in buying a cheap $1.99 spray bottle from Wal-Mart, filling it with paint thinner, and spraying on the thinner generously to the paint when a tub isnt available; a sponge will do the trick too. I do mean cheap sprayer, the thinner will eat it up after an hour or two if it sits. That's how I repainted my windshield wipers, the black paint was comin off, I sprayed em, let em sit a few minutes (10) then sprayed again and scraped, worked pretty good.

that is, if you dont have a tub, if you can soak em, that's the best way to do it, shit all but falls off after soaking in thinner for a bit.

good luck.

oh shoot! you're talking about your dash!! nevermind, don't use thinner!! a vynal or plastic dash piece in thinner will go all to hell. perhaps I should work on my reading comprehension skills... yeah, dont use thinner, get a small, SMALL, electric sander with a high grit count paper. still a bitch, but better than hand, and it wont melt your dash.

Or you can go to the junkyard and get a new dash.

ok i have a hole in my inside of the door that went through and big enough to stick about a thumb in should i spend the money to get it replaced or refinished would that be less than getin new doors from a yard since im painting my car anyways....also in the roof on the interior the padding is coming away from the passenger side door slightly is that easily repaired or a pain in the ass and how much would it cost someone to fix it and how hard would it be fo rme to fix it? and how much would it cost me?

well depending on the size of the thumb that can go through that hole, I personally, and this is because Im a cheap bastard, would patch the hole before replacing the door. bondo and foil mesh.

again though, that's because Im a cheap bastard. If you can find inexpensive replacement doors at a recycler, go with that. then you have a set of doors to try your custom hand at.
