radio code

Apparently, I am not the only one with the issue of finding a radio code. From what I understand, you need the serial number of the radio to retrieve the code. Is there any other way to get the serial number besides removing the radio? Is there any way to look it up using the vehicles VIN?

I think they can look it up with the VIN. Go into Honda with proof that its your car and your insurance card with the VIN and I think they can look it up that way.

I think I remember when they printed out the code on paper my VIN on the paper.

If not, then you have to bring them the whole CD player.
