Unhappy RPM is too low?

can somone tell me if this is a problem.. after a few mins of driving around. everytime im stopped or in neutral.. the rpm is Under 1000 rpm.. almost feels like its goin to stall.. what do u think is the problem..

Mine gets to about 200 RPM, stock tach. Thats only after i have been driving for a while on a warm day. That seems low.

most cars idle at 500 rpm, pop your hood and check the stock setting. On my GSX it says 500-750 rpm . You can always adjust the idle screw.

Mine is at 750-800 RPM wen its hot. Around 900 RPM whe its a little cooler. These are at idle. Hope it helps.

hmmm.... thats not a problem until it does stall or it struglles to kepp itself on the normal idling rpm, when this happened on my glaant it had a problem with the servos.

what about when the rpms are too high like around 2000, becuase my friend has an 89 accord and it warms up at 2k.

Dunno about that one. When its cold...highest mine went was at 1300-1200 RPM and gradually goes down as engine heats up.

my eclipse goes up to 1500-2k then glides down to 750rpms . (i hit high 2Ks once, but it also was -20 degrees out. )

mine idles at about 1600 when cold down to about 550 warm.

i dont know if it is true or not but i herd that it isnt good to warm your car by reving the engine is that a fact???

yea, because the time you let it sit there and warm up at a low RPM, is when the oil is circulating through everything. If you rev right away your reving with a car that hasnt flowed good oil in probably 12 hours.
