LOL... I know dude im the same way... Cliff notes for people who have short attention spans like me and RST....

Basically...Daimler is pulling its stock out of mitsubishi..Leaving mitsubishi to stand on its own.. Many are worried cause no one thinks Mitsubishi can stand alone.. Cause they are the only Japanese car company that doesnt make money... Mitsubishi feels that they can get enough aid money to survive for about 2 years at the most..

Someone else will buy the stake, or Mitsu will become a 'classic' in a few years. Does it bother me? Well... I've been doing OK without Eagle.

well personaly i do think they fell off the lancer has made a mark but not a dent and it seems more to me they had in mind bringin over the lancer and all the 1g 2g owners that were dissapointed with the 3g would just jump to that and they would make back profits off the 3g but with the skyline coming over if it is then they'll have a run for there money there already in a bad position as it is and by chrystler leaving them like this there gonna pull out drastic measure i think to stay in buisness in the u.s. so im not worried about them im just worried about what there gonna put out on the market

skylines ok ok any links to that

Re: The end of Mitsu?

Ok so does this mean that we wont be seeing any more mitsubishis in North America such as the (crappy) 4g eclipse and all..or does this mean the name and business "mitsubishi" will be no more. Id hate to see that happen.

Re: The end of Mitsu?

I don't get why you guys are saying Mitsu makes a skyline, or that dodge and mitsu are partnering up on the next neon?

Re: The end of Mitsu?

Ok im so confused now..what exactly is this article stating?? is it the end of MITSUBISHI (the brand) or is it just the end of mitsubishis partnership with chrysler motor, need to be more specific like is the production ceased in the USA, or is mitsubishi still gonna continue to produce vehicles?? Im so lost with this whole skyline, dodge, and mitsu talk. Can someone clear this up??

Thanks
