I just had the 4th gear servo change on my tranny, automatic 2000 rodeo, it was leaking. But now my tranny will disengage while driving and tranny light comes on, I take my foot off the gas and once my rpms drop back down my tranny engages and drives just fine. I had a diagnostic run and I popped a code my my fuel level sensor. Anyone know if that would accually cause that, if so where is it located, and how hard is it to change. I've also had an occasional problem with my truck shutting down at a stop.
Thanks for all the help so far to everyone, Bill |

Re: trans disengaging(new 4th gear servo)
Did you top off the tranny fluid after you replaced the servo?
here is another possibility http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ghlight=cables QUOTE: just reading this post dont change the tranny first thing to do replace the filter then get the thing flushed. next disconnect both battery terminals touche the two together for 15 seconds reconnect both of them problem should be gone if it does come back all you need to replace is the torque convertor
