Re: b16 in a prelude!!!!
What year prelude? If it's 3rd gen, it's def. possible. Anything above that.. WHY?!

Re: b16 in a prelude!!!!
No shit you have to be really dumb to put a b16 in a 4th to 5th gen. To replace an engine with that much power stock

Re: b16 in a prelude!!!!
You guys need to calm down.. You don't even know what prelude he is talking about. A b16 in a 3rd or 2nd gen wouldn't be a bad idea.

Re: b16 in a prelude!!!!
It's possible for any generation of Prelude. As the responses above imply, it's highly undesirable to put it in a 4th or 5th gen. And it's probably easier to put a B series into the older generations than it is an H series.

I`ve got a B18-C in my 1989 (FOR SALE BTW) and that's far from lame in my opinion... but I do admit a b16 would not be much worth it. My car made 146.3hp at the wheels before installing DC stainless headers + 2¼" mandrell bent exhaust tubing. B16 would be lacking torque... FOR ANYONE interested, check out my car at www.shadowsworld.cjb.net/prelude.html.
*NEW PRICES FOR THE CAR: starting at 6200$, 8200$as is.* Check out the post close to this one for full list of mods... |

Re: b16 in a prelude!!!!
You're not the first to say that... I just can't believe people buy 8000$ (or more ) cars on e-bay..But I'm sure I'm wrong 'cause everyone tells me that they do, so maybe I'll try as a last resort... Thanks!
