Re: There's no gas going into my throttle body

When you turn the key to the ON position, before cranking, can you hear the electric fuel pump working to pressurize the lines? If not, start with that.
What did you do to verify you are not getting any gas through the injector?
Have you messed with your plug wires at all? Are they out of order? Have you had the timing belt off recently? Is the crank sensor plugged in?

Check the fuel shutoff valve in your trunk too... if the button is in the up poition, push it down.

Do you have a broken timing belt. You can crank and crank but it won't budge if the timing belt if gone. You could follow the gas lines and see if soemthing is pinched.

when you turn the key to ON you should ehar an electric "whirring" type of sound that lasts for about 2-3 seconds... that sound is the fuel pump pressurizing the lines.

Re: There's no gas going into my throttle body

A previous post suggested the timing belt... have you checked it yet?
REmove the vlave cover and crank the engine... if the valves do not move then you need to repair your timing belt.

i will try to check the timing belt too and i'll let u know what happened. I figured out that my fuel pump is still not coming on in the car so i still have to do that. I may have to drop the tank again and check it.

Re: There's no gas going into my throttle body

To check the fuel pump you should only have to take out the bottom of the back seat (cushion) and remove three bolts on the floor board. I dropped the tank one time before I was told to do this so don't make the same mistake. You may have damaged wires going to your tank.
