Rusty Brake Components

I just bought a used 98 Grand Prix GT and the brake rotors and calipers are rusty and look terrible. Is there any way to make them look new and shiny again, without getting new ones?
Thank you!

Its likely that the rust your are seeing is superficial only - it happens to us all. A good cleaning followed by a rust sealant and coat of black paint should do the trick.

Re: Rusty Brake Components

Love your paint job. It is awesome. About the rust, even when it rains or when you wash the car and water spots the rotor you will see the rust come up there. YOu can just drive the car to get rid of the rotor rust and use brake cleaner to get rid of the superficial rust on the caliper and other components
