91 Mazda LX 626 Power Window Problems

I have a problem with my power windows on the drivers side and back seat window on the same side. The window stopped comming up but it sounds like the motor is still running on both windows. Both windows move freely, It seems like the window fell off the lifting mechanism. Any suggestions?

Re: 91 Mazda LX 626 Power Window Problems

The window motor may have become disengaged from the window regulator. I think this is pretty much what you were saying anyway....

i had this problem with my driver window... on mine, the plastic piece holding the glass to the track of the motor assembly broke apart, letting the window freely move, i just got a whole new p/w assembly from the scrap yard, works great now
