I'm already at the maximum number of cells for my batteries the 7 cell 3300s going to take that reedy stock motor and do a little experiment with it. its a 19t quad so I will modify it and see if i can make it a 4 turn. I have nothing to lose if I burn out the motor because I probably won't use it again anyway. but if it works.......

Looks like i'm the guy to beat... hes not faster.. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I can't even reach top speed.. I run out of space. do you think I can modify an old motor to a 5 turn?

I was also finding out that with my current set-up I overheat. now I have a 69 spur and 27 Pinion. but that 7 turn is creating a massive amount of heat for my speed controller and motor. I did cut a hole in the windshield but I do think ducting it like mentioned earlier would be a better cooling solution. I will just put a fan along the ducted path so it will get cooled constantly with a little pressure boost from running. any idea on what type of materials I should use to make the duct?
