96 SOHC Neon?

What can you do as far as bolt ons to give a neon decent power?
I'm looking for relatively cheap (around 750$) mods to bring an auto neon into SIR range in the quarter. This is my buddies car and I'm an apprentice mechanic so prices don't include labour. Any input would help huge

Re: 96 SOHC Neon?

mts swap will have to be done, in an auto neon you wont be near an sir time even with every bolt on.

I did a mtx swap for well under $700, it was a pretty easy job. actually I have all parts neccesary to swap except for the clutch, $300, email me for pics [email protected]
