Question Keyless Entry Reprogramming for a 94 Probe

Can anyone tell me instructions for reprogramming the Keyless Entry for my 1994 Probe? I purchased a new remote but I don't want to pay $30 for the dealer to reprogram it if I can do it myself!
Thanks!

Remove the plastic covers in the hatch. The connector that you need to jump is behind the stock subwoofer. (Look behind the panel by the back seats on the passenger side. It will be installed behind the sheemetal, a little to the rear and below where the speaker is.)

Ford Probe Electronic Door Lock Control Processor Programming

Note: When programming a new TIC (Transmitter Identification Code) into the electronic door lock control processor, the TIC of the existing keyless entry remote transmitter is erased. Therefore, both the new and the existing TIC must be programmed into the electronic door lock control processor at the same time. The processor will accept up to four Transmitter Identification Codes.

Each TIC can be programmed into the electronic door lock control processor by performing the following procedure:
1. Remove the RH luggage compartment side cover
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON or ACC position. (Mine had to be ON)
3. Using a jumper wire, connect the two program inputs together momentarily. (picture here noting the shape of the connector and the color of the two wires going to it, Blue/White and Blue/Green). The smaller plug in this same area with two wires, Blue and Blue/White, is for factory subwoofer.
NOTE: After connecting the two program inputs together, the electronic door lock control processor will lock and unlock the front doors to indicate it is ready to accept a new TIC.
4. Press any button on the keyless entry remote transmitter.
NOTE: To indicate it has accepted a new TIC, the electronic door lock control processor will lock and unlock the front doors.
5. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
NOTE: To indicate it has stored the new TIC into its memory, the electronic door lock control processor will lock and unlock the front doors again when the key is turned OFF.

Re: Keyless Entry Reprogramming for a 94 Probe

These instructions will work on Ford Probe models, 93 - 97:

Turn ignition to RUN or ACC. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located in RR quarter panel area. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible). Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
