Short Shifter

Ive read that the rsx type s already has somkind of stock short shift. How much better can an aftermarket one really be and what is the advantage of having one??

The Type S has had Short shifters for at least 2 years now. They make the gear throws shorter thus making driving more fun and faster.

ClubRSX sells both of the RevoTechnica's which decrease the throws by 40%.

Continuing from the first post....

yes, it does have short throws, and the kit makes it een shorter.

neuspeed, solo and DC Sports all make "adapter" shifters which decrease throws by 20%, but they aren't as good as the similar-priced revo which is adjustable and lower the shift knob too. The 40% throws decrease is another plus.
