preparing for a turbo/supercharger

ok this is real ignorant question but i wanted to kno what parts should i replace from stock before going turbo or supercharged. And if my SI engine will be able to handle boost

(BTW I did try the search, but i couldnt find anything specific of what im asking)=

If you are going under a large amount of boost, say anything over 10-lbs, ou will definately need new rods and pistons. But, if it were me, i would do it right and go ahead and bulletproof your engine. I mean everything, head studs, head gasket, Head work, micro polish, etc....If your gonna do it, do right, and do it the first time.
