Bender,

If you have a real car and are looking for ways to increase the horsepower, you might get better answers if you were to go to automotive forums, and then go to the dodge forum, rather than the automotive art forum.

But since you asked, here are a few quick, and relatively cheap ways to up the horsepower.

The two easiest ways are headers and an intake. Better airflow means better horsepower.
More not-so-easy ways are to change the cam, change the carb (easy, but usually expensive)
Depending on the route you want to take. If you want to keep a relatively stock look I would start there. Headers aren't too noticeable, other than the exhaust note. Even an aluminum intake can be painted to match stock, a cam is internal, and a carb is typically covered by that big saucer of a dodge aircleaner.

If you aren't worried about stock, then there are all kinds of options.
Trick dual carb intakes, superchargers, aluminum heads, high rise intakes, and even nitrous. Or, even a custom fuel injection set-up.

So, I hope this answers your questions.
If you are looking for a way to make a MODEL Dart Swinger LOOk like it has more horsepower, all of these would carry over to plastic.

But if you are working in plastic, why not put a race Hemi in and really make it look fast....

Hope that helps...
Again, try the dodge forum.
