Ok, changed the oxygen sensor and still having trouble. Here's what it does.
Idles ok until it's put into gear. When put into reverse it has little power and dies every now and then. When put into drive it has NO power unless it's downhill and even then it dies alot. My brother in law says it's not idling(sic) high enough and that's why it keeps dying. The engine light comes on when it's in gear. Any advice would be great. It's a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am with a 3.1 V6. |

Re: 94 Grand Am Trouble
well.. i have a 1993 3.3V6, and i have no idle what so ever in reverse or drive unless, like you said, im on an incline. But it doesn't die or shut off on me... if you haven't done it yet, clean off the Mass Airflow Sensor, see if that helps.
