2.8 head fit on 3.1

I was wondering if the heads from a 2.8l V6 from a 87 cavi z24 will fit on a 1992 v6 3.1l

i really need to know i blew my 2.8 up and had a 3.1 sitting around so its going in

actually i found out that any v6 2.8 and v6 3.1 made from 87 to 93 are the exact same heads

yep will work, as long as exact same fuel system there are a few different casting numbers, but if the heads are all same year group and fule system then it would work fne

save any cast aluminum parts form the 2.8 or 3.1 engines cuz cast aluminum prices are pretty good right now at the recyclers,. 45 cents a lb here, i got 80 bucks for turning in nine aluminum cast wheels last week

save any that you come across, and heads and intakes too if you can clean them of all the iron and steel parts and pieces.
