I want to put an '87 Corvette LT1 Motor into a '91 Chevy S-10, the problem I'm having is Corvette-TPI, S-10-carberated. I know I can just use the injection on the S-10, but I don't want to deal with the wiring harness. Will a carberated intake manifold bolt on to the LT1 block? Or is it different? What about a carberated intake from a '71 C-10? They look like the same, except for the obvious differences ( one being tuned port, the other carberated), but I don't want to go through all the trouble just to find out one bolts in at an angle, the other straight in or something along those lines. Any thoughts?

If I were you, I'd just keep the FI setup from the LT-1. It will be easier in the long run, as you would already have the computer and harness. I don't think the intake manifolds on older carbed Chevy's will match the one form the LT-1.

Re: Corvette LT1 Motor into a Chevy S-10
a new wiring harness would be your best bet.
