The B18B Engine?
This is a 99 Teg GS, manual. Everytime my friend revs it to around 4500+ rpms...sounds a little little like VTEC. Is it? i dont know, and i doubt there is Vtec, but it sounds just like VTEC. Oh yea, the only part he has is a "R Racing" Air Filter. Well...does my friend's GS Teg have VTEC?!
Me: I dont think it is...its the filter...hhahaha

Re: The B18B Engine?
Integra GS's don't come with VTEC. Unless he did an engine swap. Look on the valve and see if it says VTEC. If not then it is not VTEC. The only other way would be if he has an aftermarket valve cover. Then just look on the left hand side of the cam closest to the front of the car for the VTEC siloniod.

Re: The B18B Engine?
Look for a solenoid nest to the dizzy if he has an aftermarket valve cover.
