Arrow Aftermarket power locks and security system for my Civic - 95 DX Sedan

Hey,

I was just wondering if i could add an aftermarket powerlock and security system to my 95 Civic DX. It's a a kit I've seen on some sites as well as ebay but i dont know if its compatible with whats currently on my car.. if someone has any insight on this i would greatly appreciate it... thank you.

Yes it be compatible. Powerlock and alarm systems are a universal product.

You just need an Alarm system that has remote door unlock capability (which is almost all of them) and then you need acutators in each door. Any decent stereo shop can do this for you if they know anything about what they are doing.

Yep, you sure can. Just remember some lock units are better than others. I sell them for $45 per door installed!

Autoloc offers a 2dr. kit then all you need is an alarm with keyless option. I just got my 2dr. kit and trunk release kit. I will be installing it next weekend. Let me know if you need help.

Almost any stero shop can sell him the parts, he doesn't have to get autoloc. it's just basically a door lock acuator. It's usally not to terrible expnesiove to have them put it in while the wire the alarm, etc too.

will i have to replace any of the lil knoby things i push up and down currently? also, are there any kits that anyone recommends?

Not with some kits like the one mentioned above. The DEI kits are the ones that make the Autoloc actuators. They have micro switches built inside. You just have to make sure to adjust the motors correctly in order for them to work. If you don't they will get out of sync and will have to be adjusted.
