I saw some post on here about customizing. I came up with an idea and tried it...on the rear end on the taillights. THe part that is all red, well i bought some automotive paint, clearcoat, sandpaper and tape. I took the lenses out of the trunk and the sides. I taped the part around the taillights. Take your time doing the tapeing, pays in the end. I then sanded the red sections pretty good and smoothed it out a little bit. Then paint the section with about two three coats, depending on the color of your car. Then give it two to three clear coats. Put enough on the match up with the paint job on your car. It's very inexpensive and well worth it. Make sure you sand it though because the paint will flake off. I did mine over a year ago and it looks like a factory job.....

just a thought for some of you on tight bugets..hehe

I do hate the car, but as long as I have a warranty and they keep fixing the problems that are wrong with it I guess if works for me. It's something i did before all the problems started to happen, plus i thought some of you would like the idea.....thats all

I like the idea a lot! I've been thinking the same thing every time I've seen that ugly unibrow! It was a bad idea for Chevrolet to copy Ford with something so hideous!
